If bald is beautiful, Stephen Tobolowsky is one gorgeous guy. Standing at 6’ 2”, the larger-than-life character actor has been entertaining fans of the big and small screens for decades. After earning his MFA from the University of Illinois, Stephen made his acting debut in the chiller diller Keep My Grave Open (1976). Since then he’s created memorable parts, from insurance agent Ned Ryerson in the romantic comedy Groundhog Day (1993) and amnesiac Sammy Jankis in Christopher Nolan’s thriller Memento (2000) to Principal Earl Ball on the ABC sitcom The Goldbergs (2013-present). Through the years, the prolific performer appeared in Jonathan Demme’s war romance Swing Shift (1984); the Mel Brooks parody Spaceballs (1987); the historic crime drama Mississippi Burning (1988); the Jerry Lee Lewis biopic Great Balls of Fire! (1989); the Stephen Frears neo-noir flick The Grifters (1990); Ridley Scott’s female buddy pic Thelma & Louise (1991); and the erotic classic Basic Instinct (1992) starring Sharon Stone. Thanks to TV, Stephen could be seen on Blue Skies (1994), Dweebs (1995), Mr. Rhodes (1996-1997), CSI: Miami (2003-2005), and Deadwood (2005-2006). We didn’t see wood, but we saw bulge when the topless talent sported a Speedo on the Showtime series Californication (2011-2014). The sight will have you enjoying self-fornication! At the risk of repeating himself, Stephen bared his hairy chest and bulging briefs on the sitcom White Famous (2017). Of course, we prefer the skintastic actor’s revealing role in Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael (1990) since it features his naked T&A. Welcome Home, Stephen Tobolowsky!
