Andreas Apergis is a distinguished actor from Montreal, whose linguistic skills guaranteed him a long career both in front of and behind the camera, in French and English speaking movies. He's even done a ton of motion capture work for huge hit video games. But Andreas has always had an amazing body to go along with that voice, which is why he's our choice when we're in the mood for a regal gentleman. Andreas made his screen debut in the TV movie Streets of Vengeance (1988), but Americans likely first saw Andreas when he played a vampire and a Spirit Man in a pair of Are You Afraid of the Dark? episodes. We're not afraid to admit we wouldn't mind if he bit us in the dark! Or in the chest. Or wherever else... Moving to B movies, he joined Dolph Lundgren in Silent Trigger (1996), then mixed small screen work in French stuff like Le part des anges with American stuff like F/X: The Series. He was Bippy McGruder on the Canadian biker gang drama The Last Chapter and its sequel, then did a ton of voices for Assassin's Creed videogames, until he really started to show up in blockbuster movies, starting with his work as the Necromenger Empire commander, Krone in the Vin Diesel sci-fi click Riddick (2013). In a redic run of hit movies and TV shows, Andreas moved on to play the mercenary Ritter in White House Down (2013), the mentor werewolf Ray on the BBC's supernatural comedy Being Human, Colonel Sanders in X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) and Berringer in Brick Mansions (2014). But since nobody comes to Mr. Man to talk about mansions, you should know we first saw Andreas' buns as Robert Peach in the "Butcher Block" third season of Channel Zero. At one point in the creepypast based scarefest, Robert is on the floor, naked, eating a dead man. As he rolls over, we see his peach emoji, right in front of the camera. Now you're speaking our language! He moved on to play a Slave Driver alongside Jennifer Lawrence in Mother! (2017), and did episodes of Shadowhunters, Wynonna Earp, Taken, and Big Sky. After a recurring role as Guardian Xi in Star Trek: Discovery, he did another English to French swap and soon enough was Conrad in the cop miniseries Lac-Noir. But most recently, Andreas played Lt. Colonel Reed in the sci-fi thriller Moonfall (2022), and has been playing Agent Becker in CBS' art thief thriller Blood & Treasure. Rumor has it, he's also a great softball pitcher in a Montreal based softball league he plays in. We'd love for Andreas Apergis to play with our balls!
