Make some noise for the erotic Illinois native Anson Mount, who didn’t break into professional acting until his mid-20s, but has worked consistently ever since his debut in a 1999 episode of Ally McBeal. Presumably getting a call from each and every producer that needed an actor who really embodies hunkiness and unmitigated masculinity, skin runs in Anson's family: his dad was an editor for Playboy Magazine. After getting his Masters degree from Columbia, this tanned, toned, mountain of a man hit the small and big screens with roles on Sex and the City and Smallville as well playing a broker in Boiler Room (2000) and the sexy cross country driver Ben in Crossroads (2002). That was the first time we saw Anson without his shirt, when he took it off to make out with Britney Spears. It's Britney bitch! But one look at his abs didn't scratch our itch. On the complete opposite end of the acting spectrum, Anson teamed with Robert De Niro as Dave Simon in City by the Sea (2002). He found recurring roles as Roy Ravelle in Line of Fire and Will Carver in the ski resort drama The Mountain. Anson popped up in the cult classic All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (2006) but it took the horror film Visions (2015), however, for him to show off some serious skin. In one tense scene, we see his character, David Maddox, head out of his house to investigate a disturbance all while clad only in a towel that’s wrapped around his waist, giving us a look at his incredibly hot upper body. We’re wetting our pants in more ways than one! In 2016, Anson, who is a distant relative of a Confederate soldier landed the role that he's best known for, former Rebel Colonel turned revenge seeking railroad man Cullen Bohannon in Hell on Wheels. He had a Hel of a body but we didn't get any dick-see! Most recently Anson's been joining some huge franchises. He was Kirk's predecessor Captain Christopher Pike in Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, as well as illuminati member Black Bolt in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness (2022).
