Anthony LaPaglia looks like the Australian version of American treasure Robert DeNiro. Both boast Italian and Dutch genes which explains why they share some physical traits. And both play similar roles. Early on, Anthony portrayed a mobster in the comedy Betsy’s Wedding (1990). The former footballer then appeared alongside Danny Aiello in 29th Street (1991). Next came Innocent Blood (1992) directed by John Landis. Half vampire love story and half Mafia thriller, the R-rated flick is one hundred percent arousing when LaPaglia exposes his LaPecs and LaBooty! After lending his sexy presence to the films So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993) and The Client (1994), the hardworking hottie sizzled on Broadway in Arthur Miller’s A View From the Bridge (1997-1998) which won Tony a Tony! Anthony also picked up an Emmy for his turn as Simon Moon in the sitcom Frasier (2000-2004) as well as a Golden Globe Award for his stint as Jack Malone in the crime drama Without a Trace (2002-2009). If that’s not impressive enough, the acclaimed babe received an Australian Film Institute Award for Lantana (2001) and an Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Award for Nitram (2021). Of course, Tony already won us over with his revealing role in The Custodian (1993). The romantic drama features Hugo Weaving, Kelly Dingwall, and Anthony’s bare chest!
