Better Things (2016-2022)

Louis C.K. teamed with longtime friend Pamela Adlon to create another comedy for FX, Better Things (2016). No, it's not better than the critically beloved Louie, but it ran for a solid five seasons and developed a consistent female following. Showing the not so glamorous side of Hollywood, Adlon plays Sam Fox, a single mother and low-level Hollywood actress struggling to land gigs as she enters middle-age. But her career isn't as big of an issue as having to raise three daughters: the oldest, rebellious daughter Max (Mikey Madison), her middle daughter Frankie (Hannah Alligood), and her adorable youngest daughter Phil (Celia Imrie). From dealing with creepy costars and struggling with whether she should date some of her daughter's friend's dads, to not knowing what to do when her daughter asks Sam to buy marijuana for her, the series explored life as a middle-aged mom in a very realistic way. There's nothing better than seeing a childhood crush has aged like fine wine, so we're happy to note that Oswald from The Drew Carey Show, Diedrich Baker, still looks amazing with his shirt off. He strips down and goes for a swim, and his body is still quite nice. On the other hand, Lewis Macleod's body isn't quite as tight, but his crack popping out as he bends over is still a quite to see. But since nothing cures what ails you quite like a silver fox, take a gander at John Ales when he is shirtless. John is getting busy in the sack when he pauses to check his pulse. We'd love to get his heart racing with some bedroom business. The only better thing would be if they'd gotten totally naked!
