A picture may be worth a thousand words but a distinctive voice is worth thousands of pounds! Luckily for Lewis Macleod, the Scottish hottie earns lots of money. Even though you may not recognize his face, you’ve probably heard his voice on film (Minions); video games (Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban); television shows (Spitting Image, Postman Pat, Wizards vs. Aliens, Nina and the Neurons: Go Digital); and in TV movies (Rory Bremner’s Coalition Report, Hansel & Gretel: After Ever After). Alas, being a voice artist means fans can’t get a glance at Macleod’s 6’ 3’ frame. Ordinarily, that would be a shame except for the fact that Lewis also acts! Check him out as George Bush in the short film World Leaders (2008) and as Orson Welles in the series Toast of Tinseltown (2022). In between, Lewis could be seen on the final season of Better Things (2022). The FX dramedy stars Pamela Adlon but Macleod is the real scene stealer when he flashes his ass on a plane. No wonder, he was cast as “Asshole” in the episode Jesus Saves. Since Lewis is well known for his impressions of everyone from Sir Paul McCartney to Daniel Craig’s James Bond, just imagine all the fantasies he could fulfill by pretending to be other people when the lights go out in the bedroom. If you’ve ever wanted to bang a Beatle or 69 007, just have Macleod mimic aloud, close your eyes, and pretend!
