The Decameron (2024-)

One of the most famous works of world literature, Boccaccio's The Decameron, has been adapted for the screen several times, most notably by Pier Paolo Pasolini in the 1970s and as the comedy flick The Little Hours (2017)! In the summer of 2024, Netflix unveiled their adaptation of Boccaccio's ten bawdy tales as a star-studded miniseries simply titled The Decameron! Set during the Black Death in mid-14th century, the series chronicles how the different classes in and around Florence react to the pandemic, and the many taboo things they get up to during this tumultuous time! There are a number of gay scenes in the series with Karan Gill and Giampiero De Concilio delivering a particularly steamy roll in the hay, along with some sexy shirtless gay action from Amar Chadha-Patel! Throw in shirtless scenes from Fares Fares and Douggie McMeekin, as well as the nude debut of Arrested Development's Tony Hale and we think this is one Italian romp you won't want to miss!
