The name Bob Nelson is shared by many, including a stand-up comedian, a writer/actor, a bestselling author, and a retired football linebacker. But even though it’s a common moniker in the United States, there’s nothing common about foreign heartthrob Roberto “Bob” Nelson. Thanks to a bounty of blonde-permed hotties (William Katt, Christopher Atkins, Willie Aames) who sizzled on camera during the 1980s, Roberto sustained a brief acting career. The aspiring ingenue made his movie debut with an uncredited performance in the science fiction thriller The Bees (1978) starring John Saxon and John Carradine. Bob then was cast as Baron Dracula in the Mexican horror flick La dinastía de Dracula (1980). Señor Nelson continued to explore various genres in Spanish-speaking films, such as the crime drama Golpe a la mafia (1980); the comedy Okey, Mister Pancho (1981); and the action movies El vecindario (1982) and Yako, cazador de malditos (1986). But Mr. Man is most turned on by Mr. Nelson’s shirtless turn in the R-rated fantasy Sorceress (1982). The Mexican/American production features David Millbern, Douglas Sanders, Roberto Ballesteros, Ana De Sade, Martin LaSalle, and Bob’s bare body! At the 46-minute mark, we get to see the skintastic stud’s back and butt when he’s tied to a post in a skimpy loincloth! As his muscular character receives a whipping, audience members will want to give themselves a beating too. If that’s not hot enough, the hottie enjoys a naked massage. Regardless of the plot’s climax, anyone watching is bound to have a happy ending!
