Houston, we have a problem! Your native son Brent Spiner doesn’t shed his threads enough on camera. After attending the University of Houston and performing at Six Flags Astroworld, the Texas talent moved to the Big Apple where he appeared on stage (The Three Musketeers, Sunday in the Park with George). Brent made his movie debut with a bit part in Woody Allen’s Stardust Memories (1980) before heading to Hollywood where a spot in Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator (2004) starring Leonardo DiCaprio awaited. In the meantime, Brent scored guest parts on soap operas (One Life to Live, Ryan’s Hope) and recurring roles on other shows (Blunt Talk, Mama’s Family, Night Court, Ray Donovan). The boob tube babe would later be seen on the horror drama Outcast (2016-2018) and heard on various animated series (The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., Robot Chicken, Young Justice: Phantoms). Yet Spiner is best known as the android Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-1994) and its cinematic spinoffs Star Trek Generations (1994), Star Trek: First Contact (1996), Star Trek: Insurrection (1998), and Star Trek: Nemesis (2002). Since then, Brent was cast as Dr. Altan Inigo Soong on Star Trek: Picard (2020-present). Obviously, acting in space proved successful for Spiner. His out-of-this-world roles were good for us too. Take the sci-fi flicks Independence Day (1996) and Independence Day: Resurgence (2016). The latter features Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, and Brent’s ass crack in transparent panties!
