Other award noms followed for his performances in the prison flick Stir (1980) and the musical Rebel (1985). In between, Bryan conquered the boob tube with the hit miniseries The Thorn Birds (1983). In addition to receiving Golden Globe and Emmy nominations, he won over leading lady Rachel Ward who became his real life wife. Perhaps she was impressed by the naked T&A Bryan touted in Winter of Our Dreams (1981) which includes views of his bulging briefs! During the late ’80s, Brown lit up the big screen with the blockbusters FX (1986) and Cocktail (1988) while maintaining his presence in prestige pics such as Gorillas in the Mist (1988). By 1989, Brown was inducted into the Logie Hall of Fame. But just because the ’80s were great, doesn’t mean his career stopped there. In fact, the skintastic actor flashed his ass in Dear Claudia (1999). Better yet, The Odd Angry Shot (1979) gave us a shot of Bryan’s abs, ass, shaft and sack via a group shower scene!
