Based on the novels by "Urban Books" publishing magnate Carl Weber, BET's The Family Business (2018) is about a family that has been running a very successful exotic car dealership in New York for decades. At least, that's what the family business is on paper, but they're also involved in the drug trade, which explains their massive fortune. Ernie Hudson plays family matriarch L.C. Duncan. He's had enough of grinding away all day and is looking to retire and spend time with his wife (Valarie Pettiford) drinking cocktails on the beach. But L.C. would like to keep both of his businesses going, which means he has to pick a successor from his array of children. Who are his options? Well, there's the beefy security expert Junior (Sean Ringgold), the gay nightclub manager Rio (Arrington Foster), the seemingly good girl married to family lawyer Harris (Miguel A. Nunez Jr.), London (Rami Roman), the sexy party girl Paris (Javicia Leslie), and the obvious pick: workaholic Orlando (Darrin Dewitt Henson). One Duncan kid who is out of the running is Vagas (Michael Jai White) who straight up disappeared a few years back though his child Nevada (Dylan Weber) thinks he should be in the running instead. From Mexican cartels and mafia bosses to DA's who refuse to be bought off, the Duncan family struggles to keep their family biz afloat. The real Family Business appears to be taking off your shirts and never wearing them because the very sexy Darrin Dewitt Henson and Carlos Sotelo are both sans shirts for some buff realness nearly constantly. Who wouldn't want to do it with Darrin? They must've gotten it from their daddy, since we get to bust a load to our favorite Ghostbuster when the ageless Ernie Hudson takes his shirt off in the bathroom. You'll be dying to get busy with the dudes of The Family Business.
