Children Of The Church Step is a harrowing four-part Netflix drama series about the real Candelaria Massacre of 1993 that took place in Brazil and sparked outrage from the community. Children Of The Church Steps tells this story through four fictionalized characters - youths doing their best to survive on the rough streets of Rio de Janeiro. We learn about the lives of the victims behind the massacre - which involved the brutal murdering of a group of homeless people - through these plucky friends in search of a better life. Hot right? Sadly this one isn't going to blow your lid, but we did spot some cute gay action here that we'd be amiss not to notify you about. Come on Netflix, step it up!
