Biography

Wisconsin has given us more than cheese and the Green Bay Packers; the Badger State has graced Hollywood with a maturely handsome gem in the form of Mr. Big himself, Chris Noth. The son of CBS reporter Jeanne Parr, the family eventually moved to Connecticut where Chris got his Masters degree from the Yale School of drama. After doing all sorts of big apple based theater, Chris made his film debut in Smithereens (1982) before hitting the soap world as Jimmy on Another World and Harry on One Life to Live. In 1990, Chris fulfilled our law enforcement fantasies when he landed the role of Detective Mike Logan on Law & Order. At the time, there's no way he could have known how big a deal that was, since he'd go on to play the same role for five years and pop up in a bunch of its spinoffs as the same character. While that was a huge role, starting in 1998 the world who didn't care for crime dramas soon got to know Chris when he started portraying Carrie’s big dicked boyfriend, appropriately named Mr. Big, on the HBO smash hit series Sex and the City. Okay, fine it's actually a reference to his big personality and him being a huge deal in NYC, but we’d love to have seen him with his pants off to see if he lived up to the name! Unfortunately, despite it being a pretty racy HBO comedy, he wouldn't on the show, in the movies, or in And Just Like That...Chris stole Tom Hanks' wife in Cast Away (2000) and dated Heather Locklear in The Perfect Man (2005) before landing another longrunning role, that of governor Peter Florrick on The Good Wife. Those of you with a jock strap fetish should check out Chris rocking a jock on a treadmill in the crazy comedy 3,2,1…Frankie Go Boom (2012). Your countdown to climax has just begun! 10…9…8…7… That sure went a lot better than his exercise use in And Just Like That...Most recently you could see him playing William Bishop on The Equalizer. Unfortunately, some sexual assault allegations got his character killed off via plane crash. That's a big deal Chris.
