In addition to winning an Irish Film and Television Award for How Harry Became a Tree (2001), Colm received accolades for his performances in the indie flick Kings (2007), the television movie The Snapper (1993), the miniseries Random Passage (2002), and the western Hell on Wheels (2011-2016). Of course, the busy bloke is best known as Chief Miles O’Brien from Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-1992, 1994) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993-1999). Yet we prefer the actor’s shirtless turn in The Road to Wellville (1994). Alan Parker’s R-rated dramedy features Anthony Hopkins, Matthew Broderick, and Meaney’s burly body!
