Comrade Detective (2017)

It's hard to say whether or not this is a parody about a Communist detective show from the 1980s. In some ways, it's just a window into what they were showing across the pond during the Cold War and the ways it was easy to insult each other. Regardless, it has the dual benefit of a totally Romanian cast but with American voiceovers from the likes of Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon Levitt. Florin Piersic Jr. plays one of the main detectives, a man who hooks up with his fair share of informants and shows off his shirtless bod. Ion Grosu does the same as a Capitalist-loving outsider, and in this show, probably bad guy. We've always liked the bad guys. (Wink.)
