Crystal Fairy & the Magical Cactus (2013)

Perpetual adolescent Michael Cera seeks to shed some of his immature image in the Sundance flick Crystal Fairy (2013). Cera stars as Jaime, a drug-addled pseudo-intellectual who invites a free-spirited hippie chick who calls herself Crystal Fairy (Gaby Hoffman) along for a mescaline-fueled journey of self-discovery along the beaches of Chile. While the couple’s exploration begins as harmless fun, it soon becomes a battle of wills between Jaime and the titular character.
