Daniel Eric Gold knew early on that he wanted to be an actor. As a teenager he attended Lee Strasberg’s Theater Institute and later went on to get a degree in Theater Arts from Penn State. After college he moved to Chicago where he started landing roles in various stage productions as well as TV commercials for companies like McDonalds and AFLAC. One of Daniel’s first movie roles was in the Tom Cruise hit War of the Worlds (2005). Since then he has appeared in other big movies like Charlie Wilson’s War (2007) and in numerous episodes of the TV show Ugly Betty. We get to see what treasures Mr. Gold is hiding in his jeans in an episode of Girls where he plays one of the girls’ hook-up.
