Born in Mr. Man’s home state of Illinois, Daniel Sunjata is one talented Midwesterner. Yet that didn’t stop him from leaving to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Master’s from the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. With African, German, and Irish genes, Daniel’s exotic looks begged to be on screen. As such, the sexy thespian popped up on the popular soap opera All My Children (2001). He moved to primetime TV via a guest spot as a sailor on Sex and the City (2002). We just love seaman!
