Everyone needs to rejoice because our favorite Mexican hotties are back together and they are hotter than ever. It's true: Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal are looking fine as hell. The two of them are starring together in the new Hulu original series La Maquina and we are living for it. I'm fully alive, seated, and taking notes on how sexy these two STILL are.
Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal have been friends and co-workers for over 20 years now. We were all first introduced to them in the 2001 Alfonso Cuaron coming-of-age story Y Tu Mama Tambien where the pair did it all. They begin the movie with naked swimming pool hijinks which include skinny dipping and jacking off side-by-side while laying butt naked on diving boards.
They go on a giant road trip together and they end the film by banging each other in a devil's threeway with the woman they've picked up on their journey. This was a coming-of-age story for all of us. It was a fictional story for these characters, but it was inspiring to all of us. It was also a coming-out journey for many of us watching the film at a young age. Watching these two delicious Mexican men French kiss on another? You can say that teenage me went on a journey too!
And now? Now they're both sexy. It's amazing how well the two of them have aged, apart and together. They both look fantastic in La Maquina (but we haven't seen any nudity...yet), but they've been looking good ever since Y Tu Mama Tambien.
Diego Luna has been serving skintastic nude scenes for decades now. He went ass out only a few years ago in Wander Darkly and he went gay again when he played a lovable young homosexual man in 70s San Francisco in the award-winning film Milk from 2008. He also went gay again when he starred in Cassandro. He didn't go nude, but he engaged in tender kisses with his male co-star.
And now? We get to watch the pair act onscreen together again. Thank you so much, Hulu!
