Drumline: A New Beat (2014) is the VH1 sequel to the Nick Cannon original we all hate to love and love to hate (these days, at least). And while most straight-to-TV follow-ups are usually questionable at best, this one was surprisingly good—and had some surprisingly sexy studs behind those drums. This time, a girl from Brooklyn aspires to help revamp the A&T drumline and make them a famous marching band once again. To do that, she has to get past her snooty parents plus a bunch of asshole upperclassmen that want to bring her down and keep her from being the first-ever female section leader. Luckily, she gets a little action from her on-screen lover Jordan Calloway, who strips off his shirt to make out with her in the hallway. That's not all, either—Quentin Plair and Rome Flynn give us something to beat our drums to when they make out in a crowded club!
