The enticing Ed Marinaro is an actor and former football player best known for his work in Sisters, Hill Street Blues, and Blue Mountain State. Ed was born in New York City on March 31, 1950. Ed played college football for Cornell University. He set over 16 NCAA records and led the nation in rushing in both 1970 and 1971. In 1971, Ed was runner up for the Heisman Trophy. Ed later went on to play professional football for the Minnesota Vikings, the New York Jets, and the Seattle Seahawks. After retiring from football, Ed made his acting debut in Fingers (1978).
