Edward II (1992)

Adapted from the epic Christopher Marlowe play, Edward II (1990) is a postmodern affair that follows the titular character, the recently anointed king, and his interactions with his friend/lover Piers Gaveston (Andrew Tierman). With his new royal powers, Edward summons Piers, who was banished from England by the Bishop of Winchester (Dudley Sutton), returns back home, only to seek revenge for his excommunication. Not everyone is excited to see Piers back, especially the Bishop and Lord Mortimer (Nigel Terry), the head of the English army. Edward goes to no ends to defend his lover, much to the chagrin of his wife, Queen Isabella (Tilda Swinton), who is working her hardest to get her husband’s attention. Oh, the drama! Thankfully, this flirty flick doesn’t disappoint in regards to nudity. Andrew Tierman shows off his butt, while Dudley Sutton goes a step further by revealing his rink and rump. God save the peen!
