Not all Kiwis are quirky comedians. In fact, New Zealand's own Emmett Skilton is hunky, hirsute and really, really cute. Originally from Titahi Bay, after getting discovered while doing improv, Emmett worked for The Ugly Shakespeare Company before making his screen debut on the kiwi high school comedy Seven Periods with Mr. Gormsby, back in 2005. He continued working in supporting roles for a few years until his big break came in the form of the fantasy-drama series The Almighty Johnsons. Nobody worships the almighty Johnson like Mr. Man does, but New Zealanders couldn't get enough of this supernatural drama about Axl Johnson, played by Emmett, a 21 year old who finds out his family are all reincarnated Norse Gods, and he's a reincarnated Odin. Cool storyline, but we think the show was such a hit because the writers were constantly finding ways to get Emmet's clothes off. Whether it was showing his ass while skinnydipping, giving us a peek at his penis while he holds a sword in the woods, or letting us watch him ride a lawnmower in a thong, Odin's Raven! we enjoyed those scenes. Emmett moved on to play Professor Strickler on Power Rangers Dino Charge, and real life magazine publisher Victor Lownes on American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story, then had a long run as Max on Millennial Jenny. But whether Gen Z, millennial or Gen X, Americans are all about sex, so they likely enjoyed seeing Emmett's awesome body finally grace their screens. See, in a wild casting choice, Emmett's been playing future National Championship winning LSU coach Ed Orgeron on Young Rock. Coach O is the ultimate gravelly voiced Cajun sensation, so Emmett must be one heck of an actor. It's cool that he's got tons of skill, in terms of acting.
