The hilariously adorkable Griffin Newman is our new man indeed. We love this curly-haired hunk for his petite frame, spectacles, and great comic timing. Who doesn't love a funny, nerdy guy? The New York native got his start in standup as a kid, but since his film producer dad was a bit weary of childhood stardom, Griffin had to wait until he was a teen to make his screen debut, which came in the infamous M. Night Shymalan can secretly talk to the dead, mockumentary The Buried Secret of M. Night Shymalan (2004). If we spent the night with Griffin, we'd give him a twist ending, if you catch our drift! Once Griffin's career really got going, he started showing up in NYC based shows like the Krysten Ritter led dark comedy Gravity and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Starting with the killer fish flick Beneath (2013), Griffin focused on movies. Our first round dick was an intern in Draft Day (2014) and Ian in the rom-com Bakery in Brooklyn (2016). While it seemed Griffin hit the big time as Casper the mustache rocking A&R rep on HBO's Vinyl, that one only lasted one season, but luckily, Griffin really proved he was quirky leading man material when he played Arthur Everest in the Amazon series The Tick (2017). In one episode Griffin is made to undress to his boxers, showing off his surprisingly toned torso and his deep innie belly button. We were a little ticked off he didn't take it all off, since seieng those abs had us dying to climb Everest! We sure wish the brother of James Newman, who played Tony on Skins, was willing to show more skin! For whatever reason, these days Griffin's largely been doing voice over work in stuff like Our Cartoon President, The George Lucas Talk Show and Harley Quinn. But even with all this acting work, Griffin might be best known as one half of the movie podcast Blank Check with Griffin & David. We're fans of the pod, but even bigger fans of the bod Griffin Newman!
