Born on September 2, 1967 in Stockholm, Gustaf Hammarsten has been a familiar face in Swedish TV and cinema since he made his debut in the 1991 TV mini-series The Best Intentions. But Gustaf remained unknown outside of his chilly homeland until 2009, when he broke through to international audiences as Sasha Baron Cohen's devoted assistant Lutz in Brüno.
