Hairy beast of a man Gustave Kervern is a French actor and filmmaker who has made a name for himself as a dynamic performer and creator, putting out a fair number of both comedies and dramas (as well as the occasional comedy-drama) over the last twenty years. He frequently collaborates with his pal Benoît Delépine on critically acclaimed films like Louise Hires a Contract Killer (2008) and Le grand soir (2012), but we like it best when he appears in front of the camera, especially in the case of Pierre Salvadori’s comedic drama In the Courtyard (2014). In the film, Kervern stars as former rock star opposite the legendary Catherine Deneuve, whose character he eventually ends up befriending over the course of the narrative. A little over halfway into the film, Kervern’s character hears a strange noise in the middle of the night and gets out of bed to investigate. Luckily, he leaves his shirt behind and looks out his window to spot the source all while showing off his hot, furry chest.
