Home for Christmas (2019-2020)

Home for Christmas (2019) is a holiday comedy filled with romance and family drama that comes to us from Norway. This Norwegian Netflix original follows a thirty-year-old single woman named Johanne who is butting her head up against family and societal expectations for a woman her age when she goes home for Christmas. She never cared much for being in a relationship or living her life according to the ways that others want her to, but this year is different. This year, newly 30, she is really starting to feel the pressures that everyone wants to put on her. Before she actually goes home for the holidays this year, she decides to bring a date. She is determined to find someone - anyone - that she can bring home for Christmas and fool her family into thinking that she is doing okay for herself. She then starts a last-minute 24-hour search for a partner to invite with her to her family's Christmas celebration. Is that man Oddgeir Thune? Well, it would be if this was our story. He plays hottie Henrik who suns himself outside on the beach in a shirtless scene that shows off his glistening and tanned pecs. This blonde babe is looking super sexy in the sun. In another scene, he sits naked in a chair while a woman in her bra and panties sexily dances to seduce him. We, unfortunately, cannot tell if it is working because we can't see his penis.
