Norsemen (2016-2020)

It might take a true Viking to understand the ancient saying of "Wisdom is welcome wherever it comes from", but for this hilarious send-up of the brutalism of the 8th Century Norway, it's more like laughter is welcome from every angle.  From this original series out of the actual Norway, Norsemen aka Vikingane, we follow a clan of bad-ass Berserkers who use a "python-esque" approach to living the Viking lifestyle of ancient times; including all the pillaging, murdering, sacking of neighboring towns, and the end of the sword cruelty with a scope focused on modern times in a tongue-in-cheek way.  This show is almost the polar opposite of it's hyper serious counterparts of the time, like Game of Thrones, The Vikings, or Knightfall as this one blends topics of today with the backdrop of the ancient world and gives it a pitch black sense of humor tantamount to the wedding massacre of Monty Python and The Holy Grail (1975).  It also wouldn't be a Norwegian series without a bevy of insanely sexy Scandinavian studs filling out the tunics and the leather straps of the times while swinging their swords around.  While the series doesn't have a ton of nudity in it, as it's mostly focuses on the humorous side of things, we do get a very educational and hilarious sex lesson from Henrik Mestad, who shows us his butt while "pleasuring" a woman in a close-up tutoring session to his friend about how pleasing a lady should work in modern times.  He's hot, but it looks like he's about as lame in bed as one of our exes...  Either way, enjoy this funny series and the bevy of fresh Norwegian faces to fantasize about.
