The 2024 Netflix series Ripley provides the origin story of the deliciously villainous titular character from 1999's The Talented Mr. Ripley. Move over Matt Damon, because Andrew Scott received rave reviews for his portrayal of everyone's favorite slightly fruity be-Speedoed troublemaker. Ripley the series takes us back to Ripley's pre-stalker days. He is a grifter living in New York City who finds the gig of a lifetime when an older gentleman hires Ripley to infiltrate his son's life in Italy. Ripley is to convince his son Dickie (Johnny Flynn) to return home to his family in New York. This sets Ripley down a dark path that eventually leads to murder. Why are we talking about Ripley? Sadly, we're not talking about a gay scene, of which there are none. Boo. However, we love seeing out actor Andrew Scott in his tight designer swimwear in a couple of scenes! The bod is bodying. Johnny Flynn is even stingier, only teasing his physique in loose-fitting shorts. Want to shoot off a load? Let 'er Rip...ley!
