I Do Not Care if We Go Down in History as Barbarians (2018) is a dramatic Romanian flick from writer and director Radu Jude with a title based on a quote from the Council of Ministers of the summer of 1941 who had started a horrific ethnic cleansing genocide on the Eastern front. In this drama, a modern couple takes a look back at their country's history and wonders where they can feel the tremors of the history in the present.
