Berlin couple Hannah and Simon (Sophie Rois and Sebastian Schipper) have been in a loving and healthy relationship for twenty-years. But like most long-term couples, their sex life has grown cold, a problem that is only exasperated when Simon discovers that he has testicular cancer that requires surgery and chemo. Happy stuff. On the eve of his surgery, Hanna hooks up with a dude, Adam (Devid Striesow), while Simon learns that he had knocked up a chick almost two decades ago. That’s a lot to take in before going under the knife. While going through recovery, the couple decides to marry, which seems like an odd decision considering that Simon starts an affair with Adam, Hanna’s man. Unaware that the two are together, Adam develops feelings for both of them. Everything changes when Hannah turns up pregnant and she doesn’t know which one of the guys is the father. The engaged couple hits splitsville, but the three of them eventually end up in bed together, indulging in a threesome that gives us all-points nudity from both Sebastian Schipper and Devid Striesow. Perfection!
