If you’re looking for a threesome of films, check out the British flick Three (1969), the Serbian pic Three (2023), and the German movie Three (2010). Sometimes spelled as 3, the latter production is written and directed by Tom Tykwer. This romantic dramedy follows Hannah (Sophie Rois) and Simon (Sebastian Schipper) who’ve been in a loving relationship for 20 years. But like most long-term couples, their sex life has grown cold. The problem is exasperated when Simon discovers he has testicular cancer. On the eve of his surgery, Simon learns he impregnated a woman over two decades ago. That’s a lot to take in before going under the knife. While going through recovery, the couple decides to marry, which seems like an odd decision considering they both had an affair with a man named Adam (Devid Striesow) who was unaware that Hannah and Simon were together. Of course, everything changes when Hannah realizes she’s got a bun in the oven, but doesn’t know by whom. Talk about having too many chefs in the kitchen! As you might expect, the engaged couple hits splitsville but, surprisingly, the three of them end up in bed together! This means we get to see the collective pecs, pubes, buns and junk on Sebastian and Devid! After their ménage à trois, the trio of lovers can be seen in bed spooning. Yum yum! Also known as Drei, this skinternational film features dialogue in German. Yet when the leading men shed their threads, there’s no need for conversation!
