People across the world are opening themselves up to new forms of romantic relationships, and in the low-budget gay indie movie Throuple, Michael (Michael Doshier) is one of these folks. His life as a singer-songwriter in Brooklyn isn't going anywhere fast, so what does he have to lose when he runs into the sweet gay married couple Georgie (Stanton Plummer-Cambridge) and Connor (Tommy Heleringer)? They bring out the best in Michael, and together the trio just works, even if this complex relationship takes work! Throuple is an exploration of a new kind of relationship, and thankfully the actors here do a little exploring themselves. Everyone's doing everyone, but the folks who play the married couple, Stanton Plummer-Cambridge and Tommy Heleringer, are the only ones to actually show off the goods. They're a Throuple of somethings!
