Into the Wild (2007)

A young man answers the call of the wild and heads out to a remote section of Alaska in the based on a true story flick Into the Wild (2007). Adapted from Jon Krakauer's 1996 bestseller, the film tells the story of Christopher McCandless (Emile Hirsch), a recent college graduate who becomes disaffected with the world and decides to hitchhike across the country. From kayaking in Mexico and riding the rails across LA, McCandless lives a life of adventure. He sells his possessions, gives away his money and hits the trail, trying to avoid the nine to five trappings of his unhappy mom and dad. Along the way he encounters many different people who have a profound influence over him. From jailbait that lusts after him (Kristen Stewart) to old war Veterans who teach him how to work with leather (Hal Holbrook), everywhere Chris goes he finds people who want to spend time with him. But Chris isn't trying to find friends, he's trying to find himself, and becomes convinced the way to do that is to live alone in Alaska. Eventually taking refuge in an abandoned bus in the woods near Denali, Chris' tragic end has become a warning to all who seek to discover themselves by venturing into the middle of nowhere. If you're a dude who doesn't love solitude, Mr. Man would be happy to provide you some company, as long as you're as hot as Emile Hirsh! Emile goes buck wild and buck semi-naked while going native in this one. There are many shots of his young fit frame in various states of undress. His smooth chest and arms are given a skinsational amount of screen time. But the best scene in the movie comes when Chris is floating down a stream on his back, and we see his carnal compass pointing north! The raging water tries to obscure his flotation devise, but the current only accentuates the natural beauty! Considering it's Alaskan mountain water, that hunk's junk doesn't look like it even shrunk! Those scenes in Into the Wild had us wanting to do the wild thing!
