He worked odd jobs for some time thereafter, but eventually found work as an actor almost on a whim. His army experience paid off by helping him land a role as a military man in In the Valley of Elah (2007). From there he went on to appear in The Unit, Cloverfield (2008), Heroes, Warrior (2011), Safe House (2012), and Savages (2012), among others. His sexiest roles to date have been as Bo on Crash, which gave us two sexy scenes—one in the shower and another in the bedroom—and as Ryan Booth on Quantico, a role which often finds him shirtless, showering with women, and also having sex with women. While it's great to see Jake getting in touch with his naughty side, it'd be even better if he kept it up on every boob tube and silver screen role he had. It's unfortunately not the case, but you can see him in other (albeit clothed) roles on shows like Believe, Scorpion, Quantico, Black Bird, and Will Trent.
