Jeff Wincott’s toned physique, bad boy attitude, rugged good looks and black belt in Taekwondo all played a huge part in his much-deserved Hollywood success—a success built upon his small yet noticeable roles in the films Prom Night (1980), Big Deal (1985), The Boy in Blue (1986), and Deadly Bet (1992). But it was the handsome fellow’s role as the quick-tempered detective Frank Giambone, in the television series Night Heat that made him a household name, and almost doomed him to a life of portraying police officers, something he did in the straight-to-video features Martial Law II: Undercover (1991) and Martial Outlaw (1993), and on the television shows Drop Dead Diva, Person of Interest, Blue Bloods, and Criminal Justice. While we do love a man in a police uniform, we really love a man out of uniform. And it took Jeff a long time before he made the big step to go nude of camera, showing his sculpted seat meat in two scenes in the boob tube action flick Universal Soldier II: Brothers in Arms (1998).
