Born in New Orleans on Halloween 1986, Jim Cummings is a multi hyphenate talent that's going to grab more than just your attention! Cummings isn't the type to sit around waiting for other people to help him achieve his dreams, serving as a writer, director, actor, producer, cinematographer, editor, and composer on several films both short and feature length. His feature film debut came with No Floodwall Here (2010), a film about his hometown in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and his work has had a decided bent toward addressing various societal ills ever since. In 2016, Jim created the touching and funny short film Thunder Road, which he turned into a feature of the same name two years later. Jim stars as a police officer eulogizing his mother and dealing with loss and tragedy in his own life through a sunny demeanor that seems unflappable. Jim's horror flick The Wolf of Snow Hollow (2020) saw him once again working behind and in front of the camera, balancing horror and comedy in a way very few films have done since John Landis' An American Werewolf in London nearly 40 years earlier. Mr. Man first caught wind of Jim's work with the #MeToo parable The Beta Test (2021), another film that deftly balances pitch black comedy with a very serious topic. Jim made his nude debut in the flick, baring his butt during a steamy sex montage 25 minutes in, though we're sad to report that the dick we see revealed during that scene is likely a prosthetic.
