Who would ever guess that musclebound Hunkasaurus Sex Jonathan Penner is the cousin of Jason Alexander, the guy best known for playing bald, stocky, inveterate whiner George Costanzon on the long-running sitcom Seinfeld? Who would guess, for that matter, that Jonathan is married to Stacey Title, who directed him in The Last Supper (1995) before making Let the Devil Wear Black (1999) and Hood of Horror (2006) with Billy Dee Williams? Who would guess they two kids? No one, that’s who.
Jonathan got his start in the business of show when he appeared in a 1989 episode of A Man Called Hawk. That same year, he costarred with Sandra Bullock and Paris Review editor George Plimpton in Religion, Inc. In 1992, he played Dr. Leonard Stafford in the creepy haunted house sequel Amityville 1992: It's About Time. Hey Jonathan, we think it’s about time you put on a pair of speedos… and then took them off!
Since then Jonathan has appeared in the martial arts biopic Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993), the Saturday Night Live-inspired Coneheads (1993), and the slasher sequel Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993), where his scenes sadly ended up on the cutting room floor. Too bad his clothes didn’t end up there too!
