Stand-up comedian Kevin James entered the world of entertainment with his role as the package-delivering average joe Doug Heffernan on the hit TV show Everybody Loves Raymond. Spin off success paid off when Kevin starred in the massively popular The King of Queens. On the big screen, the hunky actor scored hits with Hitch (2005), I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (2007), Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009), and Grown Ups (2010). Kevin slimmed down and bulked up for his MMA-themed flick Here Comes the Boom (2012), which created a boom in our loins. With the assistance of a body double, Kevin thrilled us with more skin during a skinny dipping scene in Grown Ups 2 (2013). The Long Island native attended SUNY Cortland, set on a career in sports management. Three years later, a bored Kevin joined a community theater, liked it, and started doing stand-up alongside his brother. He got his first break on the reality competition show Star Search in 1983, killed at the “Just For Laughs” Montreal Comedy Festival, and got hired by fellow comedian Ray Romano for a few gigs on his show. Doug Heffernan was born, and the world laughed alongside the teddy bear, earning him a nomination for a Primetime Emmy. He continued his series success with Kevin Can Wait from 2016-2018, as Kevin Gable, then in The Crew as Kevin Gibson in 2021. He shook things up by playing a guy named Sean in the Netflix movie Home Team (2022). Mr. Man loves it when the real Kevin tickles his funny bone.
