Knots (2004)

The romantic comedy Knots (2004) follows Dave (Scott Cohen) and Greta (Annabeth Gish), a NYC-based married couple meandering through a stale marriage. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there’s Dave’s buddy Cal (John Stamos), a fashion photographer who doesn’t think twice about cheating on his clueless girlfriend Emily (Tara Reid). In fact, the cheating cad thinks sleeping with other women actually strengthens his relationship. Whatever. Also, there’s Jake (Michael Leydon Campbell), another buddy who doesn’t have any luck with women. Dave gets the surprise of his life when he comes home one night to find Greta in bed with their mutual friend Lily (Paulina Porizkova), an encounter that forever changes the relationship dynamic of all involved. Oh, the drama! If you can get through all the relationship squabbling, you’ll be treated to a beautiful shot of John Stamos’ butt as he strips down in front of his buddy. What a terrific nude debut!
