Before reaching the heights of fame, several stars learned there’s no shame in advertising products on TV. Past commercials feature a young Leonardo DiCaprio promoting Bubble Yum and a youthful Joseph Gordon-Levitt peddling Pop-Tarts. Not to be outdone, John Travolta sold Safeguard Soap, Mark Hamill marketed Kodak, and Paul Rudd pushed Super Nintendo before their collective careers took off. Similarly speaking, Lamorne Morris could be seen in ad campaigns for Taco Bell, Chili’s, and McDonald’s. No wonder we’re hungry for this Chicago dish! After blowing through the College of DuPage (where he was awarded the Chris Farley Memorial Acting Scholarship), the Windy City native attended the Second City Training Center. Through the years, Lamorne lent his skills to radio (HotWyred); television (The Middle, Star vs. the Forces of Evil); and to movies (The Christmas Chronicles, Desperados, Game Night, Yesterday). The prolific performer also popped up in the cinematic sequels Barbershop: The Next Cut (2016) and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019). In between, the hardworking hottie steamed up the small screen as a guest on Hell’s Kitchen (2018). But not before the boob tube babe portrayed Martin Luther King Jr. on a 2013 episode of Drunk History (2013-2020). Of course, Mr. Morris is best known for playing Winston Bishop on New Girl (2011-2018). The FOX sitcom features Zooey Deschanel, Max Greenfield, Jake Johnson, and Lamorne’s ebony abs! Perhaps that’s why he was nominated for a Teen Choice Award. The topless talent also touted his torso on the Hulu comedy Woke (2020-2022). Happy streaming!
