Lion Girl (2023)

Beloved cult Japanese filmmaker Kurando Mitsutake, the batshit visionary behind such curiosities as Gun Woman (2014) and Maniac Driver (2020), returns with his sixth feature film Lion-Girl (2023). Sometime in the near future, a meteor crashes into earth unleashing a barrage of savage beasts known as ANOROC on the planet. Unfortunately for humans, they feed off of their life force, so they're pretty expendable and dying off in record numbers. The only thing stopping the total annihilation of the human race is our titular hero Lion-Girl (Tori Griffith), a mystical being holding our salvation in her paw! And shit only gets crazier from there! This might be Mitsutake's most skin-filled film to date, with three different credited actors—Josh Shibata, Marco Garcia-Ballare, and John Haegele—showing full frontal, with John even throwing in his bare ass for good measure! This Lion-Girl will Hakuna your Matata!
