Our crush for today's epic Man Crush Monday brings us into Spooky Season very well because he is bloodsuckingly sexy. He's not a vampire - he just plays one on TV! We are talking about Sam Reid for today's #MCM.
This hottie comes to us from Down Under where the Australian stallion hails from New South Wales where the blond beauty decided to take after his older brother who was also an actor, Rupert Reid. Sam went to England to study acting more formally at LAMDA. He then went back home to be on the medical drama All Saints where he was the hot doc of everyone's dreams.
Luckily, we got to know Sam Reid for being shirtless in the series Bloom. Those abs will make something bloom in your pants, that's for sure. He also showed his ass in the 2019 film Lamb of God which is where Sam showed off his dramatic chops...and his derriere.
Sam takes on the legendary role of Lestat in Interview with the Vampire. Lestat De Lioncourt is a New Orleans party boy, hottie, and vampire who later becomes a rockstar in the 1980s - but we aren't there yet.
I'm not spoiling anything that you probably didn't already know from reading Anne Rice's novels or seeing the original film adaption from the 1990s starring Tom Cruise as Lestat and Brad Pitt as Louis. If you are a fan of those, you may have feared getting into this version. Let me assure you that this series is great and Sam is a big reason why.
One of the best scenes in the series is definitely this threesome in which Sam gets busy with Jacob Anderson (yes, Grey Worm from Game of Thrones) and a lady who loves being in the middle of their gay lovemaking. Jacob plays Louis who becomes Lestat's vampire baby (it's like drag, I guess?) and lover (also like drag?) after he is bitten by Lestat in a threesome. Classic New Orleans! We even see Sam's seat when they all float up during the scene where Jacob's neck gets bitten. This is a HOT scene that has a little something for everyone to ogle:
This scene was hot, as is every scene where this chiseled undead sexpot shows off his body. He has us wanting to suck his Reid!
Jacob Anderson is sexy, too, and the two vampiric vixens have us all watching. Vampires are intrinsically sexy and, according to so many vampire novels and movies, intrinsically gay. All vampires are basically bisexual - I guess you have to be when you are undead for centuries. What else is there to do than have hot sex with beautiful people in every time period?
This show has us all becoming big fans of both Jacob and Sam, but Sam Reid is coming out on top for that perky peach and those well-defined steal-cut abs. He is my #MCM and I have a good feeling that he is about to be yours as well.
