Beefy babe Martin Cummins is an actor who will really get you goins! Martin comes to us from "my home and Native Land," specifically North Delta, Canada on November 28, 1969. This Canuck we'd love to....made his onscreen debut in the marine biology based TV series Danger Bay in 1987, but you're much more likely to remember him as Wayne Webber, the big glasses wearing hippy Jason Voorhees yeets into an electrical box in Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989). His career faltered a bit until in 1996 he landed the role of former Navy SEAL Nick Boyle in Poltergeist: The Legacy. That one doesn't have much to do with the hit movie, it was more of an occult investigation show that featured Martin as the badass battling the occult. Martin moved on to play neurologist Lawrence Garner on Smallville and hockey Coach Dave Scott on Life as We Know It, before he landed a real recurring role as the greasy politician Gabriel Hewitt on The 4400. While he was doing tons of acting, Martin just couldn't get it going for more than a few episodes of stuff like UnREAL, but in 2014 Martin really hit it big with two huge small screen roles: mine manager Henry Gowen on the early 1900's fish out of water drama When Calls the Heart and Mayor Tom Keller on the WB's smash hit Riverdale.
