Martin Lawrence is a man who really needs no introduction, but we'll give him one anyway. Martin Fitzgerald Lawrence is an American treasure, having worked in TV, movies, and standup comedy for decades. He was actually born in Frankfurt, Germany. For real! He grew up in the DC area and began doing standup comedy. It did not take long for him to land the breakout role of Maurice Warfield on the series What's Happening Now! in 1987. From there he appeared in House Party, Do the Right Thing, House Party 2, Big Momma's House, Blue Streak, Wild Hogs, The Beach Bum, and most famously in Bad Boys as Marcus Burnett. He even had his own TV show, Martin, that ran from 1992 to 1997. This made Martin Lawrence a household name! He is one of the few people to have been banned from returning to Saturday Night Live after his monologue did not go according to plan when he hosted in 1994. While the ban has allegedly been overturned, he still has yet to be welcomed back to the show. We especially loved him in the romantic comedy A Thin Line Between Love and Hate in 1996 in which he goes shirtless multiple times. He is in the shower. He is in the bed. He is with his girl. No matter what he is doing, he has his shirt right off to show us his pecs and lean abs. Who knew a comedian could be this cute? Maybe Martin will let us see the bottom half, too.
