A Thin Line Between Love & Hate (1996) is a comedy from the one and only Martin Lawrence. No, literally, the star of the film Martin Lawrence wrote AND directed this film. He was the 90s renaissance man! The film follows a club promoter who lives life in the fast lane. He is also a proud womanizer, but he meets his match when he accidentally crosses a gorgeous woman. He made the wrong woman mad because she is a bit of a - how do we put this nicely - psychopath. No, really! He made a real psycho mad and now he has to pay for it as she makes it her new mission to make him rue the day he ever met her. She is hellbent on punishing him for breaking her heart and hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Lynn Whitfield plays the scary woman in question and Regina King plays a very sweet lady. We love those queens, but we are here for the hilarious and hot Martin Lawrence. Martin shows us there is a thin line between his chest and his clothes in multiple scenes in which he is shirtless. Whether he is in the shower and letting the steam rise around his brown and beautiful chest or he is laying in bed with the covers covering up his lower half, Martin is very comfortable without his shirt on.
