Biography

The hottest Gaston since the egg gobbling himbo from Beauty and the Beast (1991), Michael Gaston had Hollywood nowhere near his thoughts when he got his Bachelor's Degree in History from UC Davis, then his Master’s Degree in History from NYU. But his involvement in school plays and productions intrigued him to the point that he decided to give it a shot. School productions led to Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, then to TV and movies, and whatever plan he had for those degrees became, well, history. For whatever reason, Michael's found his acting niche as the ruthless villain you want to spill in. You might remember the first time you saw Gaston but were upset his clothes were still on, as Agent Bob in Hackers (1995), Marshal Herrick in The Crucible (1996), or as Cutter in Double Jeopardy (1999). On the small screen, Michael Gaston was all gas no brakes as the assasin Quinn on Prison Break, Mayor Gray Anderson on Jericho, and Homeland Security consultant Sanford Harris on Fringe. With all due respect to his work as Detective Mike Costello on Unforgettable, General Scott on TURN: Washington's Spies, and account executive Burt Peterson on Mad Men, the small screen work that was unforgettable and probably turned a few straight men was when he showed us that at 55 he still has it, by taking off his shirt in an episode of the TV show Power. Walking around the room wrapped in a towel, this veteran actor shows off some nice definition and just the right amount of chest hair. He might be a little older than many of his co-stars, but he is still plenty hot. That shot wasn't as hot as seeing him the shower in Strange Angel, even if he gets stabbed and dies in the process. Pretending to be dead meant we could see a bit of side bum while he lied down, which was good enough for us. These days you can catch Michael playing Butch Schafer in the Hurricane Katrina drama Five Days at Memorial (2022). Since he plays cops and military guys so much, we'll deliver an order: Gaston, pants off!
