Night Catches Us (2010)

Night Catches Us (2010) is the feature directorial debut of Tanya Hamilton, who wanted to give the world an authentic film about the black experience in America. Anthony Mackie stars as Marcus, a former Black Panther who returns to his Philadelphia neighborhood after a stint in prison in the summer of 1976. Rumor has it that he ratted out another Panther in order to get his own sentence reduced, with that Panther meeting his end at the hands of the police. Marcus finds himself a stranger in his own hometown as he finds doors that were once open to him have suddenly closed and no one seems to want to know him anymore. One exception is a sympathetic lawyer named Patricia (Kerry Washington), who happens to be the widow of the deceased Panther Marcus is accused of informing on. When he has nowhere else to turn, Marcus is welcomed into Patricia's home where she lives with her daughter, setting up a showdown between the current Panthers living in the neighborhood and these two damaged souls looking to find their place in the world. If you're looking for nudity, however, this isn't the place for it. Don't leave just yet, though, because we've got a shirtless Anthony Mackie for you! The Marvel stud shows off his phenomenally fit physique in a pair of shirtless scenes, one while he's in prison and another when he hooks up with Kerry Washington just prior to the one hour mark! Anthony certainly knows how to Mackie us crazy for his beautiful body!
