Odd Man Rush (2020) is a funny, sexy sports flick from director Doug Dearth about an American hockey star with big ambitions. Bobby Sanders is a young man from the United States who played on Harvard's hockey team. He dreams of making the NHL, but he winds up getting an offer in Europe - Sweden to be exact. He's asked to play in the Swedish minor leagues where he has to wrestle with his dreams versus his new reality. While he's there, he falls in love with a Scandinavian sex kitten who gives him a reason to keep living there. He starts to love it there because he loves her. Will he rearrange his dreams and stay in Sweden or abandon everything for NHL stardom back in the states? While he's hanging out in Sweden, we got to enjoy some Swedish boys who give us European beards and butchness.
