Out Of My League (2020)

Young Marta (Ludovica Francesconi) has had one of the hardest lives you could imagine. Not only was she orphaned when her parents died suddenly in a car wreck when she was just a toddler, she has also been diagnosed with a rare and deadly genetic disorder that will undoubtedly cut her life short.  Despite all that, Marta might be one of the most infectiously upbeat and positive, albeit hopelessly romantic person in all of Italy.  Living beside her in her parents old house are her two best friends, Federica (Gaja Masciale) and Jacopo (Jozef Gjura), who have been there for her through thick and thin, she is a lesbian and he is gay, but they are most definitely having convenient sex with one another. Now on the other side of 20, Marta decides that she is sick of swiping left on her dating apps and she wants to find herself someone who is not only super handsome, kind, rich, and with a good body, she flat out says she wants someone who is Out of My League!  One night at a club with her besties, she lays eyes on the square jawed adonis of a man, Arturo (Guiseppe Maggio), who is everything she has been looking for in a significant other and decides that he is the one for her!  What she, and everyone else, wasn't expecting though, is that this not-long-for-this-world girl and her prince charming might actually be perfect for each other as they fall desperately in love!  Lucky for us, we get to see real life model, Guiseppe Maggio pop his shirt off and we also get a steamy Nude-Comer debut from the rump of Albanian boy toy Jozef Gjura in this Netflix feature!
