Pat then popped up on the boob tube with a main role on the short-lived show Outlaws (1986-1987) and guest spots on The Powers of Matthew Star (1983), The Hitchhiker (1985), and Murder, She Wrote (1988). In between, he could be seen in the short films The Cowboy and the Frenchman directed by David Lynch and Les Gaulois directed by Werner Herzog.
